Weniamin Sergejewitsch Reschetnikow ( Russian Вениамин Сергеевич Решетников ; born July 28, 1986 in Novosibirsk , Russian SFSR , Soviet Union ) is a Russian saber fencer and world champion.

successes

In 2007 he became team European champion in Ghent , in 2009 he was individual European champion in Plovdiv . In 2010 Reshetnikov won gold with the team and bronze in the individual at the World Championships in Paris, and also gold with the team at the World Championships in Catania in 2011 . At the European Fencing Championships in 2011 he won bronze with the team. In 2012 he was again team European champion in Legnano , at the Olympic Games in London in 2012 Reshetnikov finished fourth with the Russian team and 17th in the saber singles. In 2013 Reshetnikov achieved bronze at the XXVII. Summer Universiade in Kazan in singles, in Budapest he became world champion in singles and with the team. In 2014 he won silver in the individual and with the team at the European Championships in Strasbourg . 2019 he was in Dusseldorf again European champion in singles.
