Georges de la Falaise
Louis Gabriel verrant "Georges" Le Bailly de la Falaise (* 24. March 1866 in Luçon , † 8. April 1910 in Paris ) was a French sword - and saber - fencers .
Georges de la Falaise took part in the Summer Olympics in Paris in 1900 and won the gold medal in the saber singles, in the epee singles and with the epee team, he finished fourth. At the Olympic Intermediate Games in Athens in 1906 , he won the gold medal with the epee team and in the epee singles. He finished fourth in the saber singles. De la Falaise competed in the 1908 Summer Olympics in London . There he was seventh in the saber singles, with the saber team he finished fourth.
He is the grandfather of Loulou de la Falaise .
