Rudolf Nébald (born September 7, 1952 in Budapest ) is a former Hungarian saber fencer .
successes
Rudolf Nébald participated in the 1980 Olympic Games in Moscow in the team competition. In this he reached the semi-finals with the Hungarian team, in which they were defeated 6: 8 against the Soviet Union . In the battle for third place, Nébald then prevailed against Poland with Imre Gedővári , Pál Gerevich , Ferenc Hammang and his brother György Nébald 9: 6. The following year he became world champion with the team in Clermont-Ferrand . In 1982 he won the bronze medal at the European Championships in Mödling .
