Claude Horstmann

Claude Horstmann (* 1960 in Minden ) is a German sculptor and performance artist .

Life

Horstmann studied art studies at the University of Osnabrück and sculpture at the Academy of Fine Arts Stuttgart , a. a. with Inge Mahn and Joseph Kosuth . Horstmann lives in Stuttgart and Marseille . In addition to her artistic work, she repeatedly held teaching positions (including FH Pforzheim 1995-97; Academy of Fine Arts Stuttgart 1998; Merz Academy Stuttgart 2012). In 1997 Horstmann was the recipient of the Sybille Assmus Prize .
