Claude Mallet (born September 30, 1930 in Paris ) is a former French football player on the position of goalkeeper.

Career

Mallet began his career at the Parisian club Stade Français . In the 1951/52 season he completed a game for the first time with the professionals in the second division . In 1952 the club rose to the first division, but rose again in 1954. Mallet made a few appearances in these years, but could not prevail as a regular goalkeeper. Therefore, he moved to Olympique Alès in 1956 , where he achieved promotion to the first division in 1957 as a regular goalkeeper . In 1960 he left the club, which had since been relegated again, and signed with SO Montpellier , with whom he again made promotion to the first division a year later. In 1963 Mallet ended his career after 137 first division and 146 second division games.
