Claude Meisch (zoologist)

Claude Meisch (born August 13, 1949 in Luxembourg ) is a Luxembourg high school teacher and zoologist.

Claude Meisch is a research assistant at the natural history museum in Luxembourg ( Musée national d'histoire naturelle de Luxembourg ) and the Institut royal des sciences naturelles de Belgique . He is a real member of the scientific section of the Grand Ducal Institute ( Institut grand-ducal, section des sciences naturelles, physiques et mathématiques ).

From 1985 to 2003 he was President of the Société des naturalistes luxembourgeois (SNL); since 1985 he has been a member of the editorial committee of the Bulletin de la Société des naturalistes luxembourgeois .

Claude Meisch is the author or co-author of numerous scientific articles and books. His specialty are the ostracods (shellfish).
