Claudia Olk

Claudia Olk (* 1969 ) is a German comparator and English scholar .

Life

Olk received her doctorate in 1999. In 2000 and 2001, she was a specialist information specialist in the Head of State and Administration at the Bertelsmann Foundation . In 2006 she completed her habilitation at the Humboldt University in Berlin . Since 2011 she has been a professor at the Free University of Berlin. She has been President of the German Shakespeare Society since 2014 . Since 2019, she has held a chair for English studies at the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich as the successor to Andreas Höfele .
