Claudia Omar

Claudia Omar-Amberg (born June 24, 1947 in Bern ; † February 6, 2008 ) was a Swiss doctor and politician ( LdU , GFL from 1999 ).

Life

Omar was a Bernese city ​​councilor from 1984 to 1990 and a major councilor from 1992 to 1996 . From January 1, 1997 until she was voted out of office in 2000, she was a councilor for the city of Bern and headed the education department. In 1998 she wrote an integration model for the city of Bern.
