Claudia Roquette-Pinto

Claudia Roquette-Pinto (* 1963 in Rio de Janeiro ) is a Brazilian author and translator.

Life

Roquette-Pinto studied literary translation at the Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro . She was also the editor of the cultural journal for five years. Numerous volumes of poetry have been published by her. In 2002 she won the Prêmio Jabuti literary prize . In 2005 she was a participant in the literary festival Festa Literária Internacional de Paraty . In 2008 Claudia Roquette-Pinto was a participant in the Berlin Poetry Festival. She is the great-granddaughter of Edgar Roquette-Pinto .
