Claudia Zuriato

Claudia Zuriato (born September 9, 1974 in Venice ) is an Italian painter .

Life

Claudia Zuriato received her first artistic training at the Liceo Artistico Santa Caterina di Treviso, graduating in 1992 as "Maturità Artistica". She then studied at the Accademia di Belle Arti di Venezia, which she graduated in 1998 with the highest possible number of points. She lives as a freelance artist in Venice.

Services

Numerous exhibitions at home and abroad show the great creative diversity of the artist. In 2005 Valerio Dehò curated her exhibition Underground , which was presented in the Deutsche Bank Gallery in Venice. In 2010 she received a three-month scholarship at the Cité Internationale des Arts Paris . The exhibition Residence 8403 , curated by Philippe Ruchmann , was the result of this stay . In 2009 she was the 3rd winner of the "Premio Internazionale D'Arte la Colomba Venezia". In 2011 and 2012 she presented her works together with four other Venetian artists as part of the exhibition Venezia riflessa in onde contemporane (Venetian reflections on contemporary waves) at the Manege Museum, St. Petersburg (Russia), the Elena Kadieff Gallery, Helsinki (Finland) and in the Rayko Alexiev Gallery, Sofia (Bulgaria). This retrospective was curated by Afrodite Oikonomidou. On the occasion of the exhibition sognai che sognavi un sogno , curated by Antonio Arèvalo, the Bugno Art Gallery Venice published an extensive publication of the works of Claudia Zuriato.
