Claudio Jupe (born September 30, 1948 in Tolmezzo , Italy ) is a German lawyer , notary and politician ( CDU ).

In the 2011 election to the Berlin House of Representatives , he won the direct mandate in the Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf constituency with 37.8 percent . In doing so, he prevailed against the Governing Mayor Klaus Wowereit , who received 36.8 percent of the first votes. In 2016, Jupe again won the direct mandate in constituency 05. He is the European policy spokesman for the CDU parliamentary group and a member of the committees for Europe, the federal government and the media as well as for urban development and housing.
