Claudio Moggi (born December 30, 1982 ) is a former Swiss ice hockey player who was last under contract with the SCL Tigers in the National League A between 2007 and 2017 . His twin brother Sandro Moggi was also a professional ice hockey player.

Career

Claudio Moggi began his career as a ice hockey player with the Rapperswil-Jona Lakers , for whose professional team he made his debut in the National League A in the 2001/02 season . In the following five years, the attacker was active for the GCK Lions in National League B and was regularly deployed for their cooperation partner ZSC Lions in National League A. For the 2007/08 season he moved within the NLA to the SCL Tigers , where he was a regular player until 2017. In 2015 he won the National League B championship with the Tigers and made it back to the top division in NLA qualification. After the end of the 2016/17 season, he ended his active career.

In 2017, Moggi, a passionate fisherman, opened a travel agency for fishing trips under the name fishbreak together with the former football professional Germano Vailati .
