Claudius Steinhardt
Claudius Steinhardt (* 1981 in Bonn ) is a German economist .
Life
He studied at the Technical University of Darmstadt economic computer science with a focus on operations research, logistics and data mining. At the University of Augsburg , he received his doctorate in 2010 at the chair for Analytics & Optimization in the field of revenue management. After completing his habilitation in 2013 on the subject of “Customer-Centric Modeling”, from 2013 he took over the chair for general business administration , particularly quantitative methods, at the University of the Federal Armed Forces in Munich , which he took over in April 2014.
His main research interests are the development and application of methods of operations research and advanced analytics to questions of pricing, revenue management and logistics.
