Claus Dörr

Claus Dörr (born March 22, 1947 in Darmstadt ) is a German lawyer and former judge at the Federal Court of Justice .

Life

In 1974 Claus Dörr began his legal career in Hessen . Initially he worked at the local court in Rüsselsheim and the regional court in Darmstadt and was appointed judge at the local court in 1977. From then on, he worked as a family judge at the Rüsselsheim District Court. In 1985 he was appointed judge at the Frankfurt Higher Regional Court, where he was a member of a senate dealing with family law. From 1990 to mid-1994 he was seconded to the Federal Constitutional Court as a research assistant and during this time also dealt primarily with cases with a family law background.

In 1996 Claus Dörr was appointed judge at the Federal Court of Justice and belonged there to the III. Until his retirement at the end of April 2012 . Civil Senate of the Federal Court of Justice , which deals, among other things, with official and state liability . In 2009 he became deputy chairman of the III. Senates. Dörr influenced the highest court case law of his Senate, especially in cases with European and social law implications and the case law on the interpretation of the fee schedule for doctors (GOÄ) and the fee schedule for dentists (GOZ).
