Clemens Richter

Clemens Richter (* 1952 in Heikendorf ) is a German writer and artist .

Life

Richter completed a seaman's training, became a captain and industrial engineer and went to sea on merchant ships from 1971 to the 1990s. He studied art in Venice and Sydney and painted oil paintings on trips to the South Seas. He built a sailing yacht and sailed the ocean. He became an aviator and built a canvas-covered biplane. Richter has lived as a writer and artist in Schleswig-Holstein since the 1990s. He has a son.

From the 1970s to the 1990s Clemens Richter painted oil paintings, mostly motifs from his travels. He has been doing experimental photography since the 1990s. Richter has been exhibiting at exhibitions since 2012. He was represented in national exhibitions and in many national shows.
