Clemens Wachter
Clemens Wachter (* 1966 in Nuremberg ) is a German archivist .
Life
Wachter studied history and German at the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg and received his doctorate in 1999 in Bavarian and Franconian regional history. Since 1999 he has been archivist at the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg.
He is an electoral member of the Central Institute for Regional Research at the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg, an electoral member of the Society for Franconian History and a member of the extended board of the Association for the History of the City of Nuremberg .
He made numerous contributions to the history of the Franconian region, especially the history of the University of Erlangen.
