Clifton Cut

The Clifton Cut is a canal south of Clifton Hampden in Oxfordshire , England . The canal bypasses an arch of the Thames at Long Wittenham .

The canal was completed by the Thames Navigation Commission along with the Clifton Lock in 1822 and is just under a mile long.
