Clinical Toxicology , or Clin. Toxicol. , is a scientific journal published by Taylor & Francis Publishers. The journal is the official journal of the American Academy of Clinical Toxicology (AACT), the European Association of Poisons Centers and Clinical Toxicologists (EAPCCT), and the American Association of Poison Control Centers (AAPCC). The first edition appeared in 1968 under the name Journal of Toxicology Clinical Toxicology . In 2005 the name was shortened to Clinical Toxicology . Currently twelve issues are published a year.

The journal is aimed at the practicing clinical toxicologist and reports on topics from the interfaces of clinical toxicology with intensive care medicine , occupational and environmental medicine, public health , regulatory toxicology, pharmacology and pharmacy as well as analytical and forensic pathology .

The magazine's impact factor in 2018 was 4,396.
