Clit was a band from the Neue Deutsche Welle from Braunschweig .

Clit was founded in 1979 by the five musicians from Braunschweig, Wilfried Jeschke, Thomas Mailänder, Ulrich Lißner, Ralf Bothe and Jürgen Köpke. This occupation remained stable until the separation in 1985. In the years together, the band gave numerous concerts and recorded two albums and four singles.
