Cloudride is a Swiss rock band from the Basel area , which appeared publicly in small clubs in 2004 after a few changes in line-up. The band orients itself on role models from the British and American independent scene and tries to remain independent.

After two EPs , Cloudride released their debut album Overlooked in September 2006 on the indie label Helium Records (RecRec). The release was followed by a series of concerts in Switzerland and a tour of Europe alongside the British band Amplifier .

On September 19, 2008 the EP Vincent was released . The record was produced in an edition of 10,000 copies, but did not go on sale, instead, based on Radiohead , was given free to the public. The EP could also be downloaded in mp3 format from the band's homepage.

After a line-up change, the band released the album In the Long Run We Are All Dead in 2013 .
