The Coast Lake (German: Küstensee ) is one of the numerous frozen small freshwater lakes at Cape Royds on the Antarctic Ross Island .
The lake was mapped by participants in the Nimrod expedition (1907-1909) under the direction of the British polar explorer Ernest Shackleton . It owes its name to its location near the coast.
