The Codex Porfirianus ( Gregory-Aland no. P apr or 025 ; von Soden α 3) is a Greek manuscript of the New Testament that is dated to the 9th century. The handwriting is incomplete.

It consists of the Acts of the Apostles , Catholic Letters , Pauline Letters and the Revelation of John on 327 sheets of parchment (16 × 13 cm). The codex is kept in the Russian National Library (Gr. 225) in Saint Petersburg .

The manuscript is a palimpsest , the upper text, dated 1301, contains the minuscule 1834 ( Euthalius ).

The Greek text of the Codex represents the Byzantine text type in Acts and Apk and is assigned to category V. The text of the Pauline and Catholic letters is assigned to category III.
