Anton Feistl
Anton Feistl (born September 26, 1881 , † October 12, 1961 ) was an Austrian politician ( SPÖ ).
Life
Feistl was a metal worker. On April 24, 1932, he became district chairman of Floridsdorf . In 1933 he founded the Floridsdorfer Heimatmuseum as chairman . After the February fighting in 1934 , Feistl was deposed as district chairman.
After the Second World War, Feistl and Franz Bretschneider played a major role in the Floridsdorf nutrition department.
Then Feistl dealt with nature conservation . He founded the Association of Austrian Hunting Associations and the Austrian Falconer Association.
Honors
- In Floridsdorf, a municipal building called Anton-Feistl-Hof and in 1971 Feistlgasse was named in his honor.
