Codex Turicensis

The Codex Turicensis (abbreviation T after Rahlfs ) is a manuscript in Greek from the 7th century. It contains the text of the Psalms and part of the biblical odes .

233 leaves (of 288) have survived. The text is written in uncials on purple-dyed parchment with silver, gold and vermilion inks . The text of the Psalms has gaps ( lacunae ). It follows the western version and is closest to the Codex Sinaiticus and Codex Alexandrinus . The odes are only partially included.

The manuscript was first published by Konstantin von Tischendorf . The manuscript is now in the Zurich Central Library , call number RP1 / C84.
