Cody Likeke Barton (* 13. November 1996 ) is an American American football poker players. He plays the linebacker position for the Seattle Seahawks .

Career

Barton played college football for the Utah Utes at the University of Utah from 2015 to 2018 . In his first season he played in all games in the special teams in which he scored 7 tackles. In 2016 he started five of his eleven games before missing the last two games due to an injury. In 2017 he played in thirteen games, of which he started four. As a senior he started as middle linebacker in all 14 games. In total, he started 23 of his 50 games for the Utes.

In the third round of the 2019 NFL Draft , Barton was selected by the Seahawks. In his rookie season he was mainly used in the special teams in the first 13 games . After an injury to Mychal Kendricks he was on the 14th game day starter as a strongside linebacker.
