Coldwell Banker is a real estate brokerage company founded in 1906 in San Francisco . At the end of 2013, it had around 630 branches of its own worldwide; another 2,490 were operated by franchisees . The branches are located in 47 countries; a total of 84,000 people are employed. The company calls itself the oldest residential real estate franchise system in North America. Coldwell Banker is part of the listed Realogy group.
Company history
The company was founded in 1906 by real estate agent Colbert Coldwell in San Francisco . A few years later Arthur Banker joined the company, which they operated together under the name Coldwell Banker from 1914 .
