The Coleman Peak is a turn 1600 m high mountain peaks on the Antarctic Ross Island . It rises 5.8 km east of the summit ridge of the Fang Ridge on the northeast slope of Mount Erebus .
The New Zealand Geographic Board named him in 2000 after the New Zealand clergyman John Coleman, who traveled to Antarctica several times as part of the United States Antarctic Program .
