Colette Langlade

Colette Langlade (born June 20, 1956 in Sorges , Dordogne department ) is a French politician . She has been a member of the National Assembly since 2008 .

Langlade initially worked as a teacher after completing her studies. In 2001 she entered politics when she entered the Thiviers council . The following year she joined the Parti socialist . In 2007 she ran in the parliamentary elections as deputy to Michel Debet , who was elected MP in the third constituency of the Dordogne department. He died on March 6, 2008 and Langlade succeeded him the following day. In the same month she was also elected to the General Council of the Dordogne, of which she became vice-president in 2011. In 2012 she was re-elected as a MP.
