Colin Capel is a retired Canadian ski jumper .

Career

Capel made his international debut at the Four Hills Tournament in 1988/89 . After mixed results beyond the top 50, at the end of the tour he was 65th overall with 329 points. In the Nordic World Ski Championships 1989 in Finland's Lahti Capel jumped on the normal hill ranked 60 on the large hill ranked 50th

From the 1989/90 season he was a permanent member of the ski jumping World Cup squad . In February 1990 he achieved his best placement to date with 22nd place in Predazzo . However, points were still not won. At the ski flying world championship in 1990 in Vikersund , he landed in singles on rank 51. At the beginning of the 1990/91 season in Thunder Bay , Capel achieved his best individual result of his entire World Cup career with rank 20.

In the Nordic World Ski Championships 1991 in Italian di Fiemme Val Capel jumped to rank 48 and 42 of the normal and large hill. After he remained without World Cup points in 1991/92 , he subsequently ended his active career.
