Collection d'ouvrages orientaux

The Collection d'ouvrages orientaux ("Collection of oriental works") was a (partly) bilingual orientalist book series published by the Société asiatique , which was published in two series in Paris since 1853 by the Imprimerie Impériale and the Imprimerie Nationale , most recently by Geuthner . Well-known orientalists have contributed to it.

It contains, among other things, groundbreaking translations of works by al-Mas'udi and Ibn Battuta , Mahavastu and others. a.
