The Collins Harbor is a bay on the south coast of King George Iceland in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . It is located immediately east of the Fildes Peninsula .
The name of the bay is contained in this form in a report by the Scottish geologist David Ferguson (1857–1936) from 1921, based on his work on King George Island between 1913 and 1914. The name probably goes back to seal hunters in 1821. The naming background has not survived.
