Collinson Ridge is a ridge in the Antarctic Ross Dependency . In the Queen Maud Mountains, it rises immediately north of Halfmoon Bluff in the northwestern part of the Cumulus Hills .
The United States Geological Survey mapped it based on its own measurements and aerial photographs of the United States Navy from 1960 to 1964. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 1971 after the US geologist James W. Collinson of Ohio State University , who between 1970 and 1971 had carried out geological surveys in the area of this mountain ridge.
