Colonia (Yap)
Colonia is a city in the Federated States of Micronesia in the Pacific Ocean . It is located on the east coast of the island of Yap and has 3216 inhabitants (2000 census).
Colonia is the capital of the Yap Islands ( Yap Proper ) and at the same time the capital of the Micronesian state of Yap , one of the four states that together form the Federated States of Micronesia. It consists of the communities Weloy (northern part, 1197 inhabitants) and Rull (southern part, 2019 inhabitants).
