The Voralpen in the Swiss canton of Vaud is called the Vaudois Pre-Alps . They lie within the Vaudois Alps and pre-Alps , which are described in an alpine guide from the Swiss Alpine Club .
According to SOIUSA , the Vaudois Pre-Alps are the supergroup 14.IA from Bergen according to the SOIUSA categorization. You are in subsection 14.I. Vaud and Friborg Prealps .
