The Col du Pillon is a pass in the Swiss canton of Vaud . It is located between the towns of Les Diablerets (municipality of Ormont-Dessus ) and Gsteig , the pass is at 1546 m .
Since 1964, a cable car has been leading from Col du Pillon in two sections to the summit of Sex Rouge in the Glacier 3000 ski area of the Diablerets massif and enables skiing on the Tsanfleuron glacier plateau from October to May .
The pass road is open all year round.
