The Oberricken is a mountain pass in the Swiss canton of St. Gallen . It leads from St. Gallenkappel via Rüeterswil and Walde to the center of the village of Ricken on the Rickenpass and thus forms an alternative route to Hauptstrasse 8 . The pass is at an altitude of 906 m; However, a sign at the top of the pass says "Oberricken 908 m".

In the hamlet of Oberricken there is the “Jeanne d'Arc pilgrim house”, a station on the Schwabenweg (Jakobsweg).

The Cholloch military training area is located on the northeast side of the pass .
