Emil Domscheidt (born April 1, 1899 ; † unknown) was a German football player .

Career

Hertha's long-standing right-back defender formed a defensive team from 1923 onwards , together with the Berlin veteran Max Fischer , which often let the opposing striker grope into the same by means of the offside trap, which was not very common at the time . In the years 1926 to 1929 he played in the final of the German championship, which was lost every year. When Hertha became German champions in 1930, Domscheidt was the first player not to participate in the finals at all due to a suspension from the previous year.

In the final round in 1931, which was also completed as a champion, the younger Rudolf Wilhelm played again , who had meanwhile overtaken Domscheidt as a regular player. Domscheidt played a total of 20 games in the finals for the German championship.
