Dent de Jaman

The Dent de Jaman is a mountain in the Bernese Alps above Montreux between the Rochers de Naye and the Col de Jaman pass . Its highest point is at 1875  m above sea level. M. South below the mountain is the de Jaman station of a rack railway operated by Transports Montreux – Vevey – Riviera .

The shape is atypical for the pre-alpine region, the western wall drops steeply towards Lake Geneva . From the station de Jaman the exposed summit can be reached via a steep path.
