Kachaber Tskhadadze ( Georgian კახაბერ ცხადაძე , transcription also Kakhaber Tskhadadze ; born September 7, 1968 in Rustavi , then Soviet Union ) is a Georgian football coach and former football player .
Player career
societies
Tchadadze played with Metalurgi Rustavi until 1985 , in 1986 he went to Dinamo Tbilisi , where he played until 1990. In 1991 he came to GIF Sundsvall in Sweden. From there he moved to Russia in January 1992 to Spartak Moscow and six months later to Dynamo Moscow . In February 1993 he moved to the Bundesliga for Eintracht Frankfurt , where the defender quickly became a regular. After the first Eintracht relegation in 1996, he wanted to move to Manchester City in the Premier League, but the change did not take place due to the lack of a work permit. Half a year later he went back to Russia to Alania Wladikawkas . In January 1998 the move to Manchester City worked and Zchadadze played for a good two years in Manchester, where he could not prevail. His contract was terminated in March 2000 due to an injury. From summer 2000 to 2002 he was a player-coach at Lokomotiv Tbilisi . His last post as a professional was then in 2003/04 the Russian second division Anzhi Makhachkala .
National team
Zchadadze played six games for the national team of the Commonwealth of Independent States ( CIS) in 1992 and took part in the 1992 European Football Championship in Sweden. From 1992 to 1998 he played a total of 25 games for Georgia and was also the team's captain. He scored a total of two international goals, one each for the CIS and Georgia. With the Georgian national team, he did not manage to qualify for a major tournament.
Coaching career
His first coaching position was Dinamo Tbilisi from March 2005 , and in January 2006 he went to Sioni Bolnissi . With both clubs he celebrated the Georgian championship in 2005 and 2006 respectively. In September 2006 he was banned from the Georgian Football Association until May 2007 for "rowdy behavior". From January 2008 to 2009 he was the coach of the Azerbaijani first division club Standard Baku . In 2009 he briefly coached the Georgian U-21 national team . He has been the coach of Inter Baku since 2009 and won the Azerbaijani championship in 2010. On December 26, 2014 it was announced that Tskhadadze will also be the new national coach of Georgia.
