Combermere is a village on the Madawaska River in southeastern Ontario , Canada . it belongs to the Township of Madawaska Valley . Combermere is known as the seat of the Madonna House Apostolate (Our Lady of Combermere). Otherwise the village has a rural market and offers access to a number of lakes and rivers. nearby is the Combermere / Kamaniskeg Lake Water Aerodrome .
