The Commonwealth Stream is a 4 km long meltwater river in East Antarctica Victoria Land . In the Taylor Valley, it flows east from the end of the Commonwealth Glacier to the New Harbor .

The American glaciologist Troy L. Péwé (1918–1999) from Arizona State University explored it on site during Operation Deep Freeze (1957–1958). He named it after the name of the glacier from which the river is fed. Its namesake is the Australian Confederation ( English Commonwealth of Australia ).
