Communications in Mathematical Physics

The Communications in Mathematical Physics (Comm. Math. Phys., CMP) is one since 1965 published by Springer Verlag Journal of Mathematical Physics of the American Institute of Physics .

It is the leading journal in its field alongside the older Journal of Mathematical Physics . It was founded on the initiative of Rudolf Haag , who was also the first editor, and Res Jost . After Haag, Klaus Hepp became the editor in 1973, James Glimm in 1976 and Arthur Jaffe in 1979 . Michael Aizenman followed from 2000 to 2012 . The editor is currently Horng-Tzer Yau .

The ISSN is 0010-3616.

The editions up to 1997 are online in Project Euclid.
