View from the center field

The stadium is named after CommunityAmerica Credit Union , a Kansas City financial institution that bought the stadium's naming rights. The official size of the stadium is 91 meters along the " left field line ", 121 meters along the middle and 100 meters along the "right field line". The stadium has 6,537 permanent seats.

history

Construction began on September 4, 2002 and was completed in just nine months. The opening took place on June 6, 2003. The record attendance in baseball was 10,345 on June 23, 2007. In Major League Soccer , the record on March 29, 2008 was 10,385.

Before the start of the season in 2008, 2,172 additional seats were created in Left field, increasing the original number of 4,365 seats to 6,537.

On June 3, 2007, a world record was set in the stadium , with 1,683 guitarists playing the Deep Purple song " Smoke on the Water ".
