history
The company was founded in 1987 as "Comtrade Trade & Finance GmbH". It saw itself as a supplier of information technology for medium-sized and large companies. In 1998 the company was able to show cooperation with companies such as Hewlett-Packard , IBM and Sun Microsystems . One year later, Comtrade AG was founded as an umbrella company.
The company went public on November 24, 2000 and, with effect from January 15, 2003, was admitted to the Prime Standard . In 2005 the company generated sales of 37.484 million euros, an EBITDA of 1.518 million euros and an EBIT of 0.96 million euros.
On May 7, 2007, the company filed for bankruptcy . The bankruptcy proceedings were opened by the Hamburg District Court on December 28, 2007.
