Comunità

A Comunità ( it. "Community") in Italy , the merger of different places, mostly smaller communities .

Tasks of a Comunità

• defend common interests of the united cities,
• promote economic development in cities,
• Development of the territory of the communes taking into account nature,
• and joint cultural funding and events

Usually smaller mountain villages join together to form a Comunità, which is then also called Comunità Montane ; In contrast, there are also valley communities (mainly in Trentino ) called Comunità di valle .
