The Concepción is a stratovolcano in Nicaragua. Together with the neighboring volcano Maderas , it forms the island of Isla de Ometepe in Lake Nicaragua . The last eruption dates back to 2010. As a result of numerous eruptions in the second half of the 20th century, the height has increased significantly above the height indicated in most records.
