Connect ( own spelling connect ) is a magazine for telecommunications . It belongs to the publishing house WEKA Media Publishing GmbH of WEKA Holding .

The main topics of the magazine, which has been published since 1992, are hardware tests of cell phones , notebooks , routers , navigation systems , hands-free devices , PDAs , streaming clients and the like. In addition to the main magazine, the magazine NAVIconnect appears every two months, which originally emerged from a special issue of Autohifi and is mainly devoted to navigation systems and the associated applications and components.

Marc-Oliver Bender, who replaced Dirk Waasen, has been editor-in-chief since 2017. Dirk Waasen has been the publishing director since then. Connect appears in various European countries and China as a licensed edition.

The editorial office was in Stuttgart until 2015 , since then it has been in Haar near Munich .

Circulation statistics

In the fourth quarter of 2014, the average circulation according to IVW was 79,436 copies. That is 7,055 copies per issue less (–8.16%) than in the same quarter of the previous year. The number of subscribers fell within one year by 2,608 subscribers to an average of 11,810 per issue (–18.08%); around 14.87% of readers subscribed to the magazine. The increasing distribution in the fourth quarter of 2016, against the general trend, is achieved by a strong increase in on- board copies of 58% compared to the same quarter of the previous year. That is 20% of the common specimens.
