Connection was the name of a monthly magazine that was founded in 1985 by Wolf Schneider (not to be confused with the journalist and former director of the Henri Nannen School Wolf Schneider ). Since 2005 it has appeared under the name Connection Spirit ten times a year (one double issue each in summer and winter). The same publisher (Connection AG, Niedertaufkirchen ) also published the two special-interest magazines Connection Tantra (since 2005) and Connection Shamanism (since 2010).
The magazine was created within the neo-sannyas movement, but soon broke away from it (1986). Since then it has been open to all directions in the aftermath of the New Age . Nevertheless, the magazine saw itself as a medium of enlightenment and wanted to continue this through "the empowerment of the individual in the field of religion " (according to its mission statement) "up to mysticism". For their periodicals, the publisher recently stated a non-certified print run of around 10,000 copies.
Connection AG ceased its publishing activities on October 31, 2015. The last issue of Connection Spirit was published on October 23, 2015.
