Constance Ella Glynn (known as Connie Glynn ) (born March 16, 1994 in the county of Hertfordshire ) is an English YouTuber and author, who mainly through her YouTube channel (formerly Noodlerella , now Connie Glynn ) and her book series The Rosewood Chronicles ( in German: Princess undercover ), which made her the best debut young adult writer in the UK in 2017.

Life

Glynn is from Hertfordshire. She has an older brother, Lawrence. They attended St. Christopher School in Letchworth on a scholarship. The school consists of a boarding school (divided into the three houses Godwin , Gernon and Lytton ) and a school which external students can also attend.

As a teenager, she attended classes at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama . Glynn moved to London after graduating from the University of Sussex with a Bachelor of Arts degree in film studies in 2016. Glynn is aromantic and bisexual .

In May 2019, she revealed that she had suffered from PTSD followed by agoraphobia and paranoia following a car accident in 2016 .

Career

Connie Glynn started her journey on the internet with a blog on Tumblr writing about Disney , anime and video games . This was translated to her YouTube channel, where she uploaded her first video with Disney impressions in January 2013. She became known on the internet for her “pink” personality and fashion sense, impressions and love for cartoons and Disney and cosplay .

In 2016, Glynn launched a second channel, originally called NoodleVlogs and later Connie . In August 2019, she renamed her channel Connie Glynn to break away from the color pink as part of her identity and aesthetic. In February 2020, she deleted almost all videos from her channel.

In 2016 Connie Glynn played the role of Moxie Dewdrop in the UK edition of the 2016 DreamWorks film Trolls .

In 2017, Glynn signed a three-book deal (a total of five books in the series are planned) with Penguin Random House, a fantasy series for young adults. The title of the series “The Rosewood Chronicles” is called “Princess undercover” in German and is largely based on Glynn's own experiences at boarding school. The first part of the book series, Undercover Princess (in German: Princess undercover ), made her the top debut author in the young adult genre in the UK in 2017.

In Undercover Princess (in German: undercover princess - secrets ) followed 2,019 volumes 2 and 3 of the series Princess-in-practice (in German: Princess undercover - revelations ) and The Lost Princess (in German: Princess undercover - decisions ). Another two volumes are planned. Glynn presented her books on a book tour in England in 2019.
