Career
Youth and amateur football
Hallisey played for his university's college team, the California Golden Bears , while at the University of California . In 72 games he scored twelve goals and prepared 19 more.
Club career
Hallisey was chosen as the tenth pick in the first round of the 2015 MLS SuperDraft by Sporting Kansas City . After receiving a professional contract there, he made his competitive debut on April 25, 2015 in a 4-4 draw against Houston Dynamo .
